About the role

Primarily responsible for the provision of high-level support and administration of our property, fleet, and other assets, this varied role will see you taking ownership of the operational expense budgets, contract engagement, and dealing with the unexpected across our 25 sites throughout the Upper North Island. Essential to this role is a solid background in the management of assets and facilities, to include a sound working knowledge of commercial property operations, and extensive fleet contract management experience.

This role will see you both leading and working on a range of projects, therefore you will bring a strategic hat to your bag of tricks, and a proven ability to see a project through from draft to execution. With significant experience managing complex operational matters concurrently within tight deadlines, you thrive under pressure, have meticulous attention to detail, are highly organised with exceptional time management and organisational skills. You will work with and alongside key internal and external stakeholders at all levels, therefore superlative verbal and written communication skills is a prerequisite as is being extremely customer focused.

A bit more about you:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role to include negotiation and procurement
  • Hands on experience setting annual CAPEX / OPEX cost budgets and managing costs related to buildings and assets
  • Health and Safety management experience (contractor induction knowledge preferred)
  • Commercial acumen and knowledge of the contractual arrangements for Vehicle Lease Agreements
  • Project Management of building HVAC, Energy providers, Utilities, Cleaners, Pest control, Security
  • Management of new fit-out projects
  • Computer savvy with strong skills in the MS Office Suite

Purpose

The Energy Services Consulting Lead will be responsible for the overall resourcing and delivery of consulting projects and monthly services on time and budget, as well as to ensure the success of our customers through additional sales and quality services.

Key Requirements
Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in managing a technical team.
  • Background in energy efficiency sustainability and ideally for large enterprises.
  • Ability to work with a range of customers large and small.
  • Experience of contributing to high performance environments
  • Experience of defining and embedding systems and procedures that enable a customer focused, agile business.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.

Strategy

Financial Management

Consulting

  • Grow and deliver Consulting team revenue through.
